Dear Big Creek Families,

Welcome to a new school year! On behalf of the Big Creek Elementary PTO, we are excited to welcome both new and returning families. We look forward to partnering with you to make this a fun, memorable, and successful year for our students, teachers, and school community.

What is the PTO?

PTO stands for Parent-Teacher Organization. We are a group of parents, teachers, and school staff working together to support and enrich the educational experience of every Big Creek student.

Our mission is to:

• Support our teachers and staff
• Enhance educational opportunities for students
• Build a strong school community
• Provide funding for programs, events, classroom resources, and school improvements through fundraising and volunteer efforts

Who Can Join the PTO?

Everyone is welcome—and membership is FREE!

If you are a parent, grandparent, guardian, family member, teacher, or staff member at Big Creek Elementary, you are automatically a member of the PTO. There are no dues or membership fees.

What Does the PTO Do?

The PTO works throughout the year to provide programs, resources, and experiences that enrich our school community. Some of the events and initiatives we sponsor or support include:

• Teacher Welcome Breakfast
• Fall Festival
• Family Dance
• Family Bingo Night
• Winter Shop
• Teacher Appreciation Week
• Teacher Grants
• Honoring Our Heroes
• Spirit Wear
• Yearbook
• Hospitality Events
• And many more activities throughout the school year!

Every fundraiser helps us give back to our students, teachers, and school.

We'd Love Your Help!

The PTO is powered entirely by volunteers, and we truly can't do it without you. Whether you have an hour a month, can help at a single event, or would like to serve on a committee, there's a place for everyone.

Volunteering is a wonderful way to:

• Meet other Big Creek families
• Support our teachers and students
• Create lasting memories for your child
• Make a meaningful difference in our school community

No experience is necessary—we're happy to help you find a role that fits your schedule and interests.
