Big Creek Elementary Literacy Night
Camp Read-A-Lot
Wednesday February 6th, 2019
5:30 - 6:45 p.m.
Come to BCES Literacy Night for a FREE evening of fun and interactive family reading activities hosted by Big Creek teachers, PTO volunteers and local authors! The BCES Literacy Night sessions provide the entire family with opportunities to embrace a love of literacy. We encourage all BCES students and their parents, caregivers, and siblings to attend!
Parents and students can choose from the following sessions:
- Meet local authors who will share their experiences becoming an author and read/sell their books
- Visit grade-level campsites where teachers will read their favorite books
- Participate in BINGO for books
- Take pictures in the camping photo booth
- Read in the flashlight and tent reading area (great for younger siblings!)
Students: Bring up to 3 gently used children’s books to trade in our Book Swap station!
Since this event encompasses dinner you have the option of ordering pizza online (whole or by the slice). Please note that the only way to order pizza is through the PTO website prior to the event.
